Court's Story

I had a truly transformative experience at my program. Before I went, I was not hanging around the right crowd or doing good things. I constantly drank and was not motivated to do anything in life. It wasn’t my choice to go, but it was one of those decisions where parents know best. Initially, when I got there, I was uncertain about what to expect, especially because I didn’t know what was happening at first. The supportive staff and structured environment quickly got me on the right path. Before going to the program, my parents and I did not have the best relationship. We simply did not know how to communicate properly with each other. The staff at the program not only helped start the process of building a better relationship with my parents but also gave us the tools on how to continue our growth after graduation. The staff was genuinely dedicated to helping everyone succeed, providing valuable guidance and encouragement every step of the way. I got into duck dogs while I was up there, which started my career. After I graduated from the program, I went to dog training school and pursued my passion. After I graduated and worked for a few places, I opened up my own training facility and started my business, which I’ve had up and running successfully for the past few years. The skills I learned at the program—both personal and social—have been instrumental in my journey toward becoming the best version of myself. I’m grateful for the experience and the opportunities it’s provided for me.
