Emily's Story

My name is Emily and I am contacting you regarding my transport in 2013. I was picked up from Westchester New York and brought to a wilderness program on February 7th of 2013. I am contacting you regarding your staff member Amanda who was part of the team to bring me there.

Although my transport was likely unremarkable in every aspect the way my "interventionist" Amanda handled my transport has left a lasting impression. She was kind, generous, and above all a fantastic listener. She told me I had great potential, and over the 20-something months I was away I held what she taught me close to my heart. I am now 23 years old and have completed extensive schooling and have sowed the seeds for a fruitful career. If it wasn't for her, I truly may have given up on myself.
